Kelas Online AddMaths
Additional Mathematics tuition for Form 4 and Form 5, anywhere in Malaysia
The same class I teach in Bukit Jelutong, from wherever you are. Homework is still marked and returned. Parents still get an email every time their child submits homework. The only thing that changes is that nobody has to sit in traffic.
Ask about the online classOnline is not a lesser version
The structure is identical to my physical class.
Most online tuition is a teacher talking at a screen while thirty muted students pretend to follow. That is not what this is.
Homework is marked, by me
I read the working, so I can see where the mistake is and write a comment on it. Not just wrong answer.
Mistakes get discussed in class
Mistakes are worked together, so every student learns and benefits from them.
An email every time homework is submitted
How many questions are answered, my comments on the wrong answer and corrections. Not only visible to the student but to parents. Parents can access and know how their children are progressing rather than have to wait for the teacher to update. So parents can proactively participate to help their child to improve their marks. That is how my students improve.
Small enough to be noticed
If your child is quiet for two weeks, I notice. That does not happen in a room of thirty.
What your child needs: a phone, tablet or laptop, a stable connection, and a quiet place to work for the length of the class. Nothing to install beyond the app.
The marking is the part that travels
A screen changes where your child sits. It does not change what happens to their working.
Homework is marked and returned for class discussion, mistakes are highlighted and worked through together, so every student benefits and nobody repeats it in the exam.
Why marked homework beats asking “faham tak?”
The question “faham tak?” measures what the pupil feels. Marked homework shows what they do.
-
A social question, not a mathematical one
Admitting “I don’t understand” in front of classmates costs something. Answering “yes” is free. A homework paper removes this pressure. It is more effective at identifying the real problem, especially for pupils scoring 50 and below.
-
Reluctant to ask questions
Pupils often feel embarrassed to admit they do not understand, or are reluctant to ask questions. They prefer to stay silent in class. Their true level of understanding is only revealed when they have to answer questions on a homework paper.
-
Answering on paper is not the same as understanding
Watching a teacher solve a problem on the whiteboard makes pupils feel they understand. But writing their own working on a blank piece of paper is a different skill. Only a blank piece of paper can test the actual skill of answering questions.
-
Finding the gap the pupil cannot name
A pupil who fails a Form 4 question because of a weak Form 2 foundation cannot tell you the root cause. All they know is they are stuck. Marked homework from the teacher shows the exact mistake where the working started to go off track.
-
Spotting repeated patterns
A classroom conversation is easily forgotten. When homework is marked, repeated errors become clearly visible. This separates a minor careless slip from a bad habit that costs pupils marks.
-
Same day marking and correction
The words “I understand” are just a claim. Marked homework is evidence of what the pupil can do alone. Chegu Khairi marks every homework paper himself on the same day. These mistakes are then discussed in the next class so the whole room benefits.

Who teaches it
Chegu Khairi, every session. Not part-timers and not a recorded course with a forum attached.
24 years teaching Add Maths
Chegu Khairi has taught Additional Mathematics since 2002, starting as a home tutor going house to house. Form 1 to Form 5, Mathematics and Add Maths.
He marks the papers himself
Not an assistant and not software. The remark lands on the line where the working broke, and it comes back the same day.
76 teachers use his question bank
He owns banksoalan.my, the Add Maths and Maths question bank and marking service used by teachers across Malaysia.

It produces the same results
SPM slips from recent students. They sat the same papers as everyone else.
